The season will kick off with the Austrian Grand Prix with safety precautions taking the utmost priority and front seat. Following a week from 5 July, another race will held at the same track. The Hungarian Grand Prix will be next before the drivers and team take a break.

Following that schedule, two back to back races will be at Silverstone, followed by the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona and the Belgian Grand Prix. Ending on 6 September, the last of the eight races will be the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. All the races will be supported by Formula 2 and Formula 3.

Due to the ongoing global outbreak of COVID-19, Formula 1 will release another calendar for the season, this time with 15-18 races before completing the season in December. For now, the races will happen behind closed doors for maintaining the highest level of safety with strict procedures in place.
