Domestic tourism remains the backbone of our tourism economy, and initiatives like these roadshows are vital to unlocking its full potential. The initiative seeks to enhance inter-state tourism cooperation and strengthen domestic tourism promotion under the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ campaign of the Ministry of Tourism. These roadshows offer an excellent platform for stakeholders to reconnect with the travel trade and engage meaningfully with prospective tourists.”
Representatives from KTS will engage directly with state tourism officials, travel company owners, and tour operators to foster regional partnerships and unlock new business opportunities.
In the next phase, KTS plans to expand this campaign to state capitals and Tier-2 cities across Central India, further strengthening Karnataka’s national tourism footprint and trade engagement.
