Since the outbreak of COVID-19, scientists are trying to find the cure to combat this deadly disease but no proper medication has been found yet.

We all know prevention is better than cure, hence, PM Modi has urged the public to follow the guidelines released by the Ministry of Ayush to keep one’s body fit and healthy.

These guidelines include the general measures to boost the immunity with the help of Ayurveda and Yoga that includes, drinking warm water, using turmeric, cumin and garlic in cooking food, practising oil pulling therapy to keep your mouth clean and steam inhalation to keep respiratory organs healthy and free from germs.

The Ministry of Ayush has also stated that these are self-precautionary methods to keep the infection off-bay but in case throat pain or dry cough persists, it’s best to consult the doctor rather than taking self-medication.

Apart from it, the Ministry is also calling out Ayush professionals, to receive training from Government of India to work in fighting against the COVID-19, if called upon.
