Tennis Stars For Breast Cancer

International WTA stars Wang Yafan and Chloe Pacquet, ahead of their GSB Thailand Open Tournament 2020, participated in raising awareness about breast cancer in Bangkok, Thailand. The players in association with QSCBC Foundation visited the underprivileged community in the city where both the players conducted fun events for the kids while their mothers were provided necessary information about breast cancer and how to prevent it.

To make people more aware of the situation, Thailand Open 2020, which will take place between 8 February to 16 February at Hua Hin city, has also changed the colour of its ground to a vibrant pink and has declared to donate the entire ticket revenue to the foundation. Apart from it, the tournament has also organised a trip to Hua Hin on 8 February where the kids of the community can witness the Tennis tournament live.

Meanwhile, Heather Watson and Alison Riske have registered the longest match of this year which ran over three hours.

In the Hobart Quarterfinals, while going against Elise Merten, Heather scored her first top 20 wins since Wimbledon 2017, in three hours and thirty-three minutes while Alison defeated Wang Yafan at the Australian Open in three hours, making it one of the longest matches in the history of Tennis.
