With all the discussion going on and athletes and various sports federations pitching in to postpone the Summer Olympics 2020 which was to be held in Tokyo, Japan, International Sports Federation has finally taken a decision to postpone the grand sports event amid COVID-19 emergency.
The President of the International Olympics Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach and Prime Minister of Japan, Abe Shinzo jointly released a statement regarding the postponement of the Olympics event, which is now slated to take place in 2021 summers.
