England’s tour of India to end on 20 March with final three T20Is and for these games, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in consultation with the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) has decided to conduct these matches behind closed doors at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Due to the sudden increase of COVID-19 cases in the state, the cricketing board has arrived at this decision taking in the consideration of the players, staff and fans. Following detailed discussions with the state and local health authorities, BCCI will comply with all the regulations put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus with health and safety being the prime priority.

Coming to the last three T20I matches between India and England, the third match will be played today, followed by 18 March and 20 March, respectively.
