A five-day 72 National Track Cycling Championship 2021 has been held from 27 March till 31 March at Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana. Along with the senior level, 49 Junior and 35 sub junior National Track Cycling Championship has also been held.
In the event, eight new national records are being set in different events. Jemsh Singh, Rojit Singh and Ronaldo Singh have set a team record in the Senior Sprint category while Swasti Singh gave a power-packed performance in the women’s 3KM individual pursuit.
Moreover in the Junior category, Vishavjeet Singh, Chayanika Gogoi and David Beckham have set a record in Men’s 3KM Individual pursuit, Women’s 2KM Individual Pursuit and Men’s Sprint event respectively. While in the sub-junior category Men’s 2KM Individual Pursuit was won by Niraj Kumar.
