Vada Pav’, ‘Bhel Puri’, ‘Pani-Puri’ and more, are some of the street food items which everyone is familiar with. But there is much more diversity in the street food about which people are not aware of.

So, here we are giving you deets about some of the street food from across the nation which you might not have heard of:

1. Dhuska:

Dhuska is street food from the state of Jharkhand which is made up of rice, lentils and boiled potatoes. A healthy snack item which tastes the best with your evening chai is often served with green and red chutney. And we bet you will never get over the taste of this lip-smacking street food.

2. Keemar Doi Bora:

When it comes to street food, Kolkata is the hub of it and our next is from the lanes of Kolkata. A treat for all the meat-lovers, Keemar Doi Bora are meatballs in thick yoghurt dip which are loved by each and every non-vegetarian hailing from Bengal. Apart from being delicious, Keemar Doi Bora is also very light on your stomach.

3. Kaladi Kulcha:

Straight from the northernmost tip of India, Kaladi Kulcha is a street delicacy enjoyed mostly in Jammu and Kashmir. This delectable food item is prepared using the ripened cheese, Kaladi, which is indigenously produced in Jammu. After mixing the herbs and a few spices with the cheese patty, it’s served with a bun and green chutney.

4. Punugulu:

A yummylicious Andhra snack, Punugulu is prepared with left-over idli-dosa batter. Once the batter turns sour after fermentation, semolina and chopped veggies are added to it followed by deep-frying. This delicacy is served along with Podi powder or coconut chutney, which makes it even more delicious.
