Australian opener David Warner knocked a historic triple century during the second Test match against Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval, Australia. His unbeaten knock of 335 runs, laced with 39 boundaries and one hit over the fence. This was one of Warner’s finest performances in Test cricket after serving a year ban for the ball tampering scandal. Now, the team are on a verge to get a clean sweep win on their home ground.
On the other hand England captain Joe Root scored his third double century in Tests, during the first innings of the second Test against New Zealand in Hamilton. The 28 year-old faced 441 balls to score 226 that helped his side. With an excellent show of cricketing, Root stayed calm, patient and hit attacking shots whenever needed without feeling any pressure.
And in the third cricket news was Yasir Shah, scoring his maiden century against Australia. In the pink ball Test played at Adelaide Oval, the left spinner hit the hundred mark in 192 balls that comprises of 12 boundaries too. Coming down to bat in the eighth position, Yasir became the sixth Pakistani batsman to hit a hundred on Australian soil in the ongoing decade.
