The first Indian pink ball Test match is being played in Kolkata, West Bengal.
India will play against Bangladesh in the historic Eden Gardens. A day-night five days match, India is the last of the major cricketing teams to join this party. Introduced in 2015, it was started with the aim to increase crowds and TV audiences, they have been successful.
With the teams and fans geared up for this historic match, Kolkata turned pink to celebrate it. The city of joy celebrated this Indian debut in high spirits. See:

Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Mamta Banerjee, West Bengal’s Chief Minister rang the bell to indicate the start of the match.
