The much awaited sporting event of the cricket world, Indian Premier League (IPL) after suffering the delay since April, gave good news to its followers a week back.

The Governing council of IPL have dropped the new schedule of the T20 Tournament which is supposed to be held at various venues in UAE from 19 September to 10 November.

After receiving permission from the Government of India, the Emirates Cricket Board has today confirmed that they have received the official clearance from the BCCI to host the 13 edition of the prestigious Indian Premier League which will be played in an utter safe and secure environment with the paramount importance given to the health of the players and staff.

Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Emirates Cricket Board also stated; “We feel extremely privileged to host what could be considered the pinnacle-event of our favourite sport. The magnitude of being in a position to bring the IPL to the vast cricket-loving global community, during current events which have greatly impacted our daily lives, is one we take with extreme importance.” as he promised the cricket lovers to host a successful event.
