1. Volleyball

Indian volleyball team has made an impressive return to the international circuit, after winning against Oman, 22–25, 25–12, 25–21, 25–1. Now, they have advanced into the Asian Volleyball Championships’s quarterfinals. With this, the national team has also made a direct entry into the eight team Olympic qualifying event, which will be held in China, in January 2020.

2. Pankaj Advani

One of India’s most consistent sportspersons, Pankaj Advani, increasing his tally of world titles to 22 by winning against Nay Thway Oo of Myanmar, 6-2, at the IBSF World Billiards Championship.

3. Saurabh Verma

Madhya Pradesh’s Sourabh Verma claimed a thrilling three game win over China’s Sun Fei Xiang,  21-12 17-21 21-14 in an hour and 12 minutes clash, which resulted in him winning the

men’s singles title at the Vietnam Open BWF Tour Super 100 badminton tournament.
