His incredible feat was witnessed at the Athletics Central North West League meet in South Africa, where Neeraj’s spear covered a distance of 87.86m and in one go the young player won a quota in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after crossing the benchmark of 85m.

This proud moment was shared by the office of Union Minister of Sports and Kiren Rijiju, Union Sports Minister also congratulated the athlete for his incredible comeback.
