Vowing to stun the audience with his versatility, Akshay Kumar will now step into the shoes of a transgender for his upcoming movie ‘Laxmmi Bomb’. With the film’s new still, you will be stunned by the actor’s makeover.
Draped in a crisp nine yard for his character and the cold gaze that fixes on you will definitely send a chill down your spine. Standing in front of Goddess Durga, Akshay shared the look on his Instagram, writing, “Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about… but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone… isn’t it? #LaxmmiBomb”.

A remake of 2011 Tamil horror comedy ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’, the storyline revolves around a man who is afraid of the supernatural powers and is later possessed by the ghost of a transgender, Laxmmi. Later, the fun begins and it leads to hilarious situations in his life.
The horror comedy film, also stars Kiara Advani. Directed by Raghava Lawerence, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ will hit the theatres on 5 June 2020.
