Groove ‘Dhiktana Dhiktana’, As It’s 25 Years Of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’

It’s time for a grand celebration as Bollywood’s blockbuster and loved film, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ clocked its 25 years in the industry. The film which starred the notorious boy, Salman Khan and most beautiful face of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit, has always been receiving much love from fans. Scripted and helmed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ is a musical romantic-comedy family film which celebrates the Indian wedding traditions by linking the story of a wedded couple and the happy relations between their families, a story about sacrificing one’s love for one’s family.

As the film turns 25, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Renuka Shahane and the producer Rajshri Productions goes nostalgic and reminisced the memories of all the special scenes from the film.

The dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit is celebrating her favourite character from the film ‘Nisha’ by lighting Diya and decorating phoolon ki thaali. She took to her twitter handle to share the video made by herself, for this special day. She captioned it saying, “Recreating the moments of Hum Aapke Hain Koun on its 25th anniversary! This movie has given me memories that I can never forget. Nisha will always hold a special place in my heart #SoorajBarjatya @rajshrifilms #25YearsOfHAHK.”

In another post, Madhuri recalls the famous scene of hitting through Gulel. She made a video of herself taking up #GulelChallenge and nominating other actors to take the challenge. Anupam Kher, who played the role of Professor Siddharth Choudhury (Nisha’s father) and Renuka Shahane who played the role of Pooja Choudhury (Nisha’s Sister) in the film couldn’t control their excitement on celebrating the big day and took to their twitter handle thanking and congratulating the filmmakers on making such an iconic film.

Renuka shared a motion poster of the film with a backdrop of ‘Dhiktana’ song. She captioned it as, “Gratitude to #SoorajBarjatya ji @rajshrifilms for giving me a once in a lifetime role in a once in a lifetime film. Thank you to the ever increasing audience of cinema goers for showering their love & blessings on this big hearted family film.”

Rajshri Productions shared a series of videos of all the memorable, special and iconic scenes and songs from the film. From the first song ‘Wah Wah Ramji’ where Nisha (Madhuri Dixit) and Prem (Salman Khan) are seen dancing together to congratulate their Jeeji-Jeeja and Bhaiya-Bhabhi, respectively, for their marriage to Nisha cooking and serving food made by her to Prem with love, the series of videos will take you on a quick ride to the entire story of the film.
