Coffee has long moved beyond being just a morning pick-me-up. From slow mornings and work breaks to catch-ups and conversations, it has become part of the way we experience a space. This International Coffee Day, two Bandra favourites, The Nook and Brakefree Café, are putting their own spin on the city’s ever-growing love for coffee.
THE NOOK, BANDRA
At The Nook, coffee is an important part of its identity as a café-bar and neighbourhood third space. Its daytime menu brings together familiar favourites with more playful creations, including The Grind (Coffee Based Cocktail), Spice maple cold brew, Cherry Blossom Latte and a range of cold brews. With coffee taking centre stage during the day before the space transitions into its cocktail-led evenings, The Nook offers a more relaxed, experiential take on the everyday coffee ritual.
BRAKEFREE CAFÉ, BANDRA
At Brakefree Café, coffee fits naturally into the space’s easy-going, all-day café culture. Known as a spot to eat, work, read and unwind, the café pairs its coffee selection with an all-day menu and a laid-back setting. From its popular cold coffee to its range of coffee and beverage options, Brakefree keeps the coffee experience approachable, comforting and very Bandra.
