The world is looking forward to the year 2021 with hope-filled eyes but for Christian Coleman the upcoming year is not appealing to be good.
The 24-year-old American sprinter will be missing the Summer Olympics of 2021 to be held in Tokyo, Japan suffering a two-year ban by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU). In the month of June, Coleman was provisionally suspended.
The 60m World record holder has been pressed with the charges of anti-doping violation. The AIU Committee announced the ban by stating: “We impose on the athlete a period of ineligibility of two years, which will end on May 13, 2022” and has given the athlete a time period of 30 days to appeal the decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Last year when Christian was cleared to race at the Doha, Coleman had also stated: “I’m not a guy who takes any supplements at all, so I’m never concerned about taking drugs tests, at any time. What has been widely reported concerning filing violations is simply not true.”
