Big B Commemorated For His Work

The Shahenshan of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan is one of the legendary actors whose charm is evergreen and keeps inspiring generation after generation through his work. To honour his contribution to the Indian film industry, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar announced the unanimous selection of the iconic actor for Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

Javadekar took it to his official social media handle to congratulate Big B, writing, “The legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for 2 generations has been selected unanimously for #DadaSahabPhalke award. The entire country and international community is happy. My heartiest Congratulations to him.

Soon the news broke on the internet and congratulatory messages started flooding in for Senior Bachchan. Bollywood actor, Anil Kapoor sent his greetings to the superstar and wrote, “There is no mention of Indian cinema without this Legend! Meanwhile, Mr Bachchan’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan also took to her official Instagram to congratulate her papa by sharing a black and white picture from his old movie. Along with the picture she wrote, “Whose your Dada (Saheb Phalke) ?
