Kohli-Dhoni Bag Top ICC Honours

The wait for the ICC Awards is finally over!

There’s no surprise that Indian captain Virat Kohli has won the Sir Garfield Sober Award for ICC Male Cricketer of the Decade. He is also named as the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Decade. Happy to be honoured with this prestigious award, here’s what the skipper has to say, watch:

Adding another feather to his illustrious career, former Indian player and captain, MS Dhoni won the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade. He was chosen unanimously for his gesture of calling back England batsman Ian Bell after a bizarre run out in the Nottingham Test in 2011.

Meanwhile, Australia’s Steve Smith is named as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Decade and Rashid Khan from Afghanistan is ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Decade.

Coming to women’s cricket, Ellyse Perry from Australia undoubtedly won the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Award for ICC Female Cricketer of the Decade along with being ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Decade as well as ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Decade. Here’s her reaction:
