The Uttarakhand schedule of ‘Jersey’ has been wrapped, stars Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur as the leads. On Instagram, the leading man shared a selfie of himself to announce this update with his fans. Clean shaven look with long hair while sporting black shades, Shahid wore a navy blue formal shirt as he clicked a selfie.
Getting back to work months after the shoot was stalled in the wake of the pandemic induced lockdown, the cast and crew of ‘Jersey’ filmed and completed another schedule of the movie. In his post, Shahid Kapoor called the wrapping up of the schedule a blessing and was grateful towards this movie’s cast and crew team who stayed strong as well as positive during such a tough time.
‘Jersey’ is a Hindi remake of the Telugu hit of the same name, traces the story of a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to return to the field in his late thirties. Driven by the desire to represent the Indian team, he works hard to fulfil his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift.
Trending all day, Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty come together once again, this time for a film titled ‘Cirkus’!
Also starring Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma, ‘Cirkus’ will be Rohit’s take on the classic Shakespearean play, ‘The Comedy of Errors’. The star studded movie is backed by T-Series and Reliance Entertainment. With the shooting starting from next month in Mumbai, the film is scheduled to release by the end of 2021.
