Ageing is an inevitable phenomenon which everyone should accept with open arms. But there are certain food habits which cause early ageing, making us worry about the deteriorating skin condition in addition to other health issues.

So, here are some food items on which you need to make a cut to stay healthy and young for a long time:

1. Sugar:

Excess sugar in your diet causes dark circles, wrinkles and dehydrates skins causing fast ageing. Cut sugar from your diet to save yourself from several body issues as sugar binds with the protein which makes up your skin. If you have a sugar tooth, try alternatives like honey or brown sugar in your diet to maintain good health.

2. Salt:

Salt is known to cause cellular ageing as it erodes the chromosomes. It also retains body water which causes puffiness and sometimes pain in joints. Excess salt also causes dryness in the skin ultimately giving rise to wrinkles and acne.

3. Fatty Meat:

Fatty meat has a high concentration of sodium, sulfite and saturated fats which dehydrates the skin weakening the collagen which keeps your skin firm. Switch to leaner protein to stay healthy and free from cholesterol issues which also causes water retention and puffiness.
