Yesterday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the ongoing efforts to tackle COVID-19.
Right after that, the PM Office’s official Twitter account tweeted that Modi will address the citizens at 8:00pm on 19 March where he will talk about issues relating to coronavirus and the efforts to combat it.

In the high-level meeting, Modi discussed ways to strengthen India’s preparedness to fight coronavirus and also, to enhance the testing facilities. PM emphasised on actively engaging with individuals, local communities and organisations in getting mechanisms to fight COVID-19. He has also urged officials and technical experts to deliberate on the steps to be taken next.
