Some movies are made for the heck of it.
We really wonder what is running in the minds of the maker when they think about the plot and storyline. Only songs won’t save a movie nor will the glam of the stars.
Box office numbers is what decides if a movie is good or bad, the storyline is a second option!
We have found movies that have a terrible story to tell but the box office doesn’t agree to that.
See:
1. Student Of The Year 2
What did we do to deserve a sequel of ‘Student of the Year’?
Starring Tiger Shroff alongside debutants Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, this movie is a disaster. From a bad script, acting and song timings, everything is questionable.
One really wants to know, which college works like this? Dancing out of the blue, no one attending classes and fashion parades instead of dress codes.
The funny part is that they have the same ‘Student of the Year’ cup drama but this time it’s a little extra ‘natak’ by two girls fighting for one boy who just dances or does stunts.
2. Bharat
Can’t deal with the makers showing what happens in one year but this movie shows the whole life of Bharat, just why?
Dragged to a point where one can walk out in the interval, this movie features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the leads. Songs with no meaning and reliability to the movie, the stars lose chemistry in few scenes. From childhood to old age, the jokes seem too forceful to laugh. With the storyline making no sense, the movie goes on for two hours and 30 odd minutes.
3. Kabir Singh
The only reason one will like this movie is Shahid Kapoor’s new side of acting that was unknown to the audience as well as the heart touching songs with deep lyrics. But wait, this is just a minute part of the movie!
The movie also features Kiara Advani, the leading lady who literally has two lines in the whole movie and basically is a statue in the whole three hours duration. The most hitting part is how the hero treats the heroine, it’s such a wrong portrayal that it will anger one and turn your palms into a fist (pssh add toxic masculinity).
4. Saaho
A high budget movie with only stunts and no story!
After going through a maze of twists and turns, the movie really leads to nothing but leaves you more exhausted than excited. ‘Saaho’ stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor as the protagonists. Shot in exotic locations, one can travel the world through the movie but get bored at the end of it. India’s biggest action-thriller showing high stake robberies, doesn’t connect with the viewers. Every character is poorly sketched and the focus is only on the looks. Too many flaws with a slow paced movie, you will fall asleep with no interest to know the climax.
5. Marjaavaan
You’ll feel the same as the movie’s title, after watching it.
A multi-starrer movie, ‘Marjaavaan’ features Tara Sutaria, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh and Riteish Deshmukh. It is a flat typical Bollywood romantic movie that reminds you of ‘Ek Villain’ in way too many parts, it is a throwback to the 80’s. One can easily predict what’s going to happen, this just loses the whole essence of watching the movie.
The movie is anything but to die for! (read sarcasm)
