The iconic theatre from the streets of New York City, Paris, is once again open for the movie lovers. One of the oldest art-house theatres of the city, Paris has shut its doors earlier in August after a run of seven decades and on Monday the giant streaming company, Netflix, bought the theatre to restore its charm.
Netflix in a series of tweet announced its new purchase which will screen Netflix Original movies and host special events. Earlier Netflix original ‘Marriage Story’ also got premiered on this iconic single screen theatre.
After closing earlier this year, The Paris — New York’s last single-screen theater — reopened for a limited run of MARRIAGE STORY. Now, the iconic theater will be kept open and become a home for special Netflix events, screenings, and theatrical releases. pic.twitter.com/fr82Oq2j8I

Along with a monochromatic picture of the facade of the theatre, the social media announcement of Netflix reads, “We’re beyond thrilled to announce that the doors to New York’s iconic Paris Theatre will remain open!”
