A menu inspired by purity and lightness, designed for slower summer afternoons and easy evenings
As the days get warmer, Yauatcha introduces Feast of Senses – a limited-time menu that leans into lightness and simplicity, built around an all-white palette. The idea is to keep things easy and balanced for the season, with dishes that don’t feel too heavy but still hold flavour.
The menu begins with a selection of dim sum and small plates, including Vegetable char siu bun, Shiitake mushroom dumpling, Truffle mushroom dumpling, Har gau, Chilean seabass mooli roll, Chilean seabass dumpling, Pork char siu bun, and Chicken char siu bun. The focus here stays on soft textures and clean, familiar flavours.
The cheung fun section brings in a bit of contrast with both Crispy vegetable cheung fun and Steamed prawn cheung fun, keeping things light while adding variety in texture.
For mains, the menu moves into slightly warmer flavours with dishes like Stir-fry lotus root, Asparagus and water chestnut with onion and almond flakes, along with a Spicy wild prawn curry. These are paired with Steamed jasmine rice or Egg white chicken fried rice with spring onions, making for a meal that still feels balanced for the weather.
The menu also includes a Steamed Indian seabass in spicy black bean sauce, which keeps with the overall approach: flavorful, but not too heavy.
Desserts stay on the lighter side, with Coconut macarons and a Red fruit fromage, layered with crème fraîche mousse, pistachio sponge, mixed berry jelly and raspberry sorbet—just enough sweetness without feeling heavy.
Alongside the food, cocktails such as the Lychee Martini and Hakka bring in fruit-forward, slightly floral notes, keeping in line with the overall direction of the menu.
Feast of Senses is designed for slower meals, where the focus is on keeping things simple, balanced and easy through the summer.
