After becoming the first female to referee in men’s champions league, Stephanie Frappart is going ahead in her game.

The French lady along with Kateryna Monzul are going to take charge of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers later this week.

Frappart will overlook a match between Netherlands and Latvia which is to be held in Amsterdam on 27 March while Monzul will be in charge of the clash between Austria and Faroe Island on 28 March in Vienna.

As two strong and proficient women would be officiating the important fixture for Qatar World Cup, the  chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee,  Pierluigi Collina, commented, “Although they already had some matches in important men’s competitions under their belts, officiating a FIFA World Cup qualifier for the first time is special and is something to be very proud of. They have worked very hard in recent years and these appointments are recognition for the good job that they have done”.
