Earlier, the reports of the entire cast of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ falling prey to Coronavirus had gone viral. Post which Anil Kapoor also shared an Instagram story putting a rest to the rumours.
But now Varun Dhawan took to his official social media handle to share an update about his health. Posting a picture of himself, Varun thanked all his well-wishers and wrote, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time 🙏🤍 thank u.”

Directed by Raj Mehta, the shoot for the movie was going on in Chandigarh, where Varun Dhawan along with Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli had reached in the mid of November.
