Today’s salwar kameez for weddings has either given ways to shararas or full length anarkali. Even kurta is becoming more playful by making it more shapes and style, keeping yokes conventional and adding dun below the high waistline. Making sharara frill style or using stitching texture such as pleating or slits lot of experimentation is happening making Mehendi and other such events more fun.

Drape saree is already a classic now but what is being evolved is pairing it with trouser, dhotis, belts to give it more personal touch. Such options are perfect for Cocktails.

Lot of this innovation is also possible due to improvisation in textiles from organza to cotton silk, chanderis which are developed keeping summers and increasing need for flowing and sheer textiles.
