‘Doctor Who’ actress Sophia Myles’ father Peter Myles has lost his battle against the global coronavirus pandemic and passed away. Just over a week after contracting the illness, her father died of COVID-19.
Taking to Twitter, Sophia updated the world with this heartbreaking news via a tweet.

My dear Dad died only a few hours ago. It was the Corona Virus that finally took him.

From a week, Sophia was updating everyone about her father’s fight against coronavirus and documenting his condition. Shortly before posting the news of Peter Myles death, the actress shared a photo of herself visiting him in his hospital bed.

Her father, Peter was tested positive for COVID-19 on 14 March where he was in a locked ward after being hospitalized. Also, her father was dealing with various other health problems too. At every given chance, Sophia warned others to make sure and take the threat of the virus seriously.
Currently, countries have reported more than 3.5 lakh cases with the death toll rising above 14,000.
