Master Blaster took to his official social media handle and questioned the safety of the players during the game time by sharing a still of the Sunrisers Hyderabad match as he wrote, “The game has become faster but is it getting safer?
Recently we witnessed an incident which could’ve been nasty.
Be it a spinner or pacer, wearing a HELMET should be MANDATORY for batsmen at professional levels.

Sachin also tagged current Indian cricket head coach Ravi Shastri in one of his tweets and wrote about an old incident where thanks to the helmet, Ravi escaped a serious injury.

Sachin’s take on ensuring the safety of the players again came into focus when Dhawal Kulkarni of Mumbai Indians received a powerful throw on his head, only to be saved by the helmet in his most recent match. Sachin shared the clip of the same on his Twitter handle and reiterated his words by writing, “Another example of why helmets need to be made mandatory.
