India-wide Release, 31st July 2026: Globally renowned kirtan artist Radhika Das releases The Heart Album, his first live album, bringing together recordings from spiritual gatherings across the world. From London’s Swiss Church to Shri Radha Gokulananda Temple in Vrindavan, the album captures thousands of voices chanting together, offering listeners an immersive experience of live kirtan wherever they are.
The Heart Album traces Radhika Das’ journey as a live performer, bringing together recordings from intimate gatherings, festival stages and arena-scale events. It captures the spontaneity, energy and collective participation that have become hallmarks of his live kirtans. Long-time collaborators including Jahnavi Harrison, Keli Woods and others appear throughout the album, providing a sense of continuity as the recordings move between countries and continents.
The 17-track album includes a calm, soothing Sita Rama at the World Yoga Festival in Henley-on-Thames; a soaring Hare Krishna at Shepherds Bush Empire; and a recorded communal Shiva Shambho chant before thousands at The DOME SVP Stadium in Mumbai, and several others.
For years, through his recordings and live gatherings, Radhika Das has introduced kirtan to audiences around the world while remaining rooted in its traditional practice. With The Heart Album, he captures how the simple act of chanting together can transform a personal meditation into a shared experience that brings thousands of voices together.
“I’ve always believed that kirtan is something you experience as much as you hear. A studio recording can capture the music beautifully, but a live album captures something different; it captures the people’s hearts in that moment, in person, together. The collective voices, the spontaneous moments, the silence between the chants, the joy, the emotion. I wanted to release this album because it allows listeners to step into the atmosphere of these gatherings, wherever they are in the world.”
Radhika DasFrom soaring moments of collective chanting to quiet reflections, the album invites listeners into the experience of a gathering where the line between artist and audience disappears. More than a concert recording, it is an invitation to join a global community united through mantra, music, and shared devotion.
