Flaunt an hour-glass figure while donning a peplum dress. A fad of the fashion world, peplum gained popularity in the mid 19th century and were credited for accentuating the lower body of a woman.

Peplum is derived from a Greek word and hence many people assume it to be a part of Greek Goddess’ dressing style. Even though there’s no solid proof of it but who cares!

Be your own goddess and don the peplum like the Cine stars.

Take  a look:

1. Malaika Arora:

The ever-gorgeous Malaika Arora was recently spotted wearing a black peplum leather jacket with knee-length black cycling shorts of faux leather. Malaika’s uber-chic, boss lady look was paired with lacy skin-toned bralette top. To keep her cat-like look sharp, Malaika went for a sleek high pony, nude ankle straps with light makeup and gold coloured danglers.

2. Parineeti Chopra:

Parineeti Chopra’s peplum style army green top with a flared skirt is definitely something unique and eye-catching. The actress looked fresh and bubbly in her full-sleeved attire that was accentuating her waistline with a chunky belt. She kept her hair simple in a side-parted wave and paired it with light natural makeup and brown heels.

3. Pooja Hegde:

Pooja Hegde’s over the top red look is definitely what we are eyeing on. The lady wore a blood-red pantsuit with overlapping top of peplum style. With sleeves that were oversized and looked like a cape, Pooja’s look was all about breaking the boundaries. She wore black stone studded heels with her red power suit and opted for a bold red lip with a simple middle-parted open hairdo.
