New Delhi, May 2026: Since opening its doors at Ambawatta One, Mehrauli, Péndulo has emerged as one of New Delhi’s most distinctive dining destinations, celebrated for its bold interpretation of Indie-Mex cuisine and immersive tasting-menu experiences curated by Chefs Megha Kohli and Noah Barnes.
Now, the restaurant enters its next chapter.
Péndulo has officially introduced its new à la carte menu, offering guests a more spontaneous and flexible way to experience the restaurant’s signature dialogue between India and Mexico. Inspired by the same culinary philosophy that shaped its acclaimed tasting journeys, the new menu translates Péndulo’s most defining ideas into a collection of vibrant, shareable dishes designed for leisurely lunches, celebratory dinners, and everything in between.
While the restaurant’s tasting menus remain a cornerstone of the experience, the à la carte offering places choice firmly in the hands of the guest, allowing diners to engage with Péndulo’s culinary world at their own pace.
“The tasting menus allowed us to tell a complete story,” says Sahil Baweja, Founder of Péndulo. “With the à la carte menu, we wanted guests to experience that same Indie-Mex DNA in a more instinctive way. These are dishes built around comfort, generosity, and flavour while still carrying the spirit of exploration that defines Péndulo.”
At the heart of the menu is the restaurant’s signature approach to culinary storytelling, where Mexican fire meets Indian spice, regional traditions intersect with indigenous ingredients, and familiar flavours are reimagined through an entirely new lens.
Among the highlights are the Habanero Butter Chicken, a bold reinterpretation of one of India’s most beloved dishes; the Chipotle Lobster, which brings together coastal flavours and Mexican smokiness; the Mulato Chilli Raan; and the now cult-favourite Lamb Birria Taco, which has quickly become one of the restaurant’s most talked-about dishes.
The vegetarian programme receives equal attention. Dishes such as the Yam Tostada Chaat, Himalayan Gucchi Cottage Cheese, Makhani Mole Artichoke, and Rasam Quesadillas reflect the same level of technique, thoughtfulness, and creativity as the rest of the menu, reinforcing Péndulo’s belief that vegetarian dining should never be an afterthought.
Complementing the food is Péndulo’s agave-forward beverage programme, where tequila, mezcal, and original cocktails continue the conversation between India and Mexico long after the last plate leaves the table.
