The first song of comedy horror movie ‘Roohi’ is out and it does appear spooky as well as fun.
Titled as ‘Panghat’, Janhvi Kapoor can be seen embracing her dual avatar as a bride as well as a possessed woman. The party song begins with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma entering with garland as Janhvi starts the song in red bridal attire. But soon the music number turns dark with Janhvi in witch avatar. Voiced by Asees Kaur and Divya Kumar, it also has a rap by Mellow D while the show stealer is Janhvi who looks ravishing and scintillating in both her avatars.
The song is composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar and the lyrics are penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Meanwhile, the Janhvi, Rajkummar and Varun starrer movie is set to hit the theatres on 11 March, 2021. Directed by Hardik Mehta, ‘Roohi’ is brought by the ‘Stree’ producer Dinesh Vijan and revolves around the story of a bride who’s possessed by a ghost while two small-town guys are out to tackle her.
