Parineeti Chopra Starts The Shooting Of ‘The Girl in The Train’

Parineeti Chopra has kick-started the shoot for her upcoming film titled ‘The Girl In The Train’ in London. The film which is helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Hollywood thriller of the same name. As Parineeti begins the shoot, she took to her Instagram handle penning a long note. In the note, she mentioned about her role in the film and called it as the most difficult role up to date.

She further expressed that she feels as if she is living in a hostel with no facilities. The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress also clarified that the picture is random and not the poster of the film, but she might share the first look of the film shortly.

She captioned the picture as, “So. We’ve started shooting for #GirlOnTheTrain in London. Its my MOST difficult role to date; I feel like I’m in a hostel, with no time (or headspace) for social media or chilling or doing anything else. Its a new experience for me – being cut off from everything and everyone else… Will share the first look soon. This picture was the only “timepass” I’ve done on set so far.”

Director, Ribhu Dasgupta too tweeted on his twitter handle, announcing about the shoot. He retweeted the post of a clapperboard shared by Shibashish Sarkar, the CEO of Reliance Entertainment and further captioned it saying, “Hopping on to a train ride today with @ParineetiChopra .. Soon to be joined by @aditiraohydari @IamKirtiKulhari @avinashtiw85 Thank you @Shibasishsarkar @RelianceEnt @amblin #TheGirlOnTheTrain.”

Apart from this, Kirti Kulhari has also been signed to play the role of a British cop in the film. Taran Adarsh who is best known for giving box office updates on twitter revealed the news about it. Later, the director of the film retweeted his tweet, making the news official. Take a look:

Before the shoot, Parineeti Chopra was busy promoting for her upcoming film titled ‘Jabariya Jodi’ with co-star Siddharth Malhotra, which is all set to hit the cinemas on 12 July. Further, she will also be seen in a biopic film ‘Saina’ where she will play the role of badminton player, Saina Nehwal. Also, she has another film in the pipeline titled ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, which will also star Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Rana Daggubati and Pranitha Subhash.
