[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 8 Sirocco along with the new Nokia 6 2018 and the Nokia 7 Plus in the subcontinent at a media event in Delhi last month. The premium model, an elegant, slim, and sturdy device is carved out of a single piece of stainless steel.

Though the device is named after a windstorm that flows towards the Mediterranean Sea, the Nokia logo evokes nostalgic memories of the time we bought our first mobile phones.

The display has conventional 16:9 aspect ratio screen, a 5.50-inch touchscreen pOLED display with a
resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels and protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display edge curves into the frame reminding you of the Samsung Galaxy Edge series. But here the frame is stainless steel and the way the polished black steel interacts with the shiny chamfered steel edges exudes luxury.

The device comes with 12 MP primary image sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, wide-angle lens, secondary 13 MP sensor with an f/2.6 aperture, telephoto lens and a 5 MP front shooter fixed-focus lens with f/2.0 aperture, all using Karl ZEISS optics. The Pro Camera lets you modify the white balance, focusing, ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation separately. Nokia 8 Sirocco is powered by Android One and runs Android 8.1 Oreo version that comes with the promise of guaranteed future OS updates. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The device is opulent and clean without an overload unnecessary features and unsolicited apps. A 3,260mAh battery makes sure that the phone manages to run for more than a day even when
you have a continuous multimedia playback and online streaming.
