Sad news for Indonesian Badminton players!

The All England Badminton Championship which is being held behind the closed doors from 17 March has announced that Indonesian shuttlers won’t be participating in the ongoing tournament. The decision came after a member travelling with the athletes has been tested positive of COVID19 infection.

The athletes have been contacted by the UK Government’s National Health Service (NHS) Test and Trace service and have been asked to self-isolate for 10 days, thereby putting a restriction on the players from participating in the ongoing rounds.

Moreover, the BWF and Badminton England will follow all the protocols in accordance with the UK Government and the local health authorities to ensure the safety of all participants.
