Mind Over Mayhem!

Just before the release of this year’s much-awaited movie ‘Joker’, a standalone movie of the side-kick and lady love of Joker, Harley Quinn is on its way. Recently, Warner Bros. production dropped the trailer of ‘Birds of Prey’ and Margot Robbie revives her role as Harley Quinn.

 The movie is set after the break up of Joker and Quinn, and Harley is looking for a fresh start. The trailer opens with Harley saying, “You know what a Harley Quinn is? A Harley Quinn’s role is to serve. It’s nothing without a master”, and in the next scene, the sidekick becomes the leader of a gang of ladies in her fight against other bad guys of Gotham. In her own emancipation, Harley is also setting a young girl free who is kidnapped by Black Mask played by Evan McGregor.

A women-centric movie where Margot is showing both fun and dangerous sides of Harley with a bold dialogue “I’m the one they should be scared of! Not you, not Mr J! Because I’m Harley fricking Quinn”, also shows the brilliant shots of Robbie’s acting. The trailer also showcases Harley’s crazy transformation in the movie. In one scene, Margot is in Marilyn Monroe’s avatar and in the very next scene she is fighting the bad guys. With the movie ‘Birds of Prey’, Margot Robbie is all set to take us on a roller coaster ride, delivering another supervillain-led blockbuster.

The story of the journey of Harley Quinn post her fallout with Joker is set to release on 7 February 2020.
