Martin Guptill had an unforgettable World Cup this year, he will be remembered for the two run-outs, MS Dhoni’s and ironically his own in the final’s Super Over. He was involved in one of the turning points of the game, during the last over of England’s innings, Martin threw the ball from the deep which got deflected by a diving Ben Stoke’s bat, giving four extra runs to England.
After a heart-breaking loss, Guptill on his Instagram captioned pictures with his family, “I couldn’t have been more proud to have my two best supporters with me for the ride. @lauramcgoldrick13 you are my rock.
