MDH Owner Is No more

Indian renowned spice brand, MDH’s face and owner Mahashay Dharampal Gulati is no more. Dharampal Gulati aka Dadaji or Mahashayji was in hospital for the past three weeks in New Delhi and today early in the morning took his last breath at the age of 97, after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The man was known for his visionary step and revolutionising the Indian Kitchen with his especially curated myriads of spices. Starting from Karol Bagh post Independence, Dharampal Gulati took his company to international level with a good reach in European and Middle-East markets.

Honouring his contribution to the Indian market and giving it global recognition, Mahashayji was awarded with the third highest Civilian award of the nation, Padma Bhushan in the year 2019.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia expressed his grief on the demise of India’s one of the most renowned businessman by writing, “India’s most inspiring entrepreneur,

MDH owner Dharm Pal Mahashay passed away this morning.

I have never met such an inspiring and lively soul. May his soul rest in peace.”

Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal also shared a social media post dedicated to MDH owner, calling him an “inspiring personality” and extended his prayers.
