The unveiling event of official mascot, jersey, logo and schedule of the maiden Khelo India University Games 2020 was held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha on Monday.
The launch event was attended by the Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal and Union Natural Resources Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik.

With the official mascot, Jaya and Vijaya, unveiled by Union Human Resource Development Minister, Khelo India University Games 2020 will commence from 22 February and will continue till 1 March meanwhile promoting the importance of sports and fitness among the youth across the nation.

The first edition of University level mega sporting event will witness the participation of around 4,000 athletes hailing from 100 universities in 17 various sports categories and will be held at the Kalinga Institute of IndustrialTechnology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar.
