The wait is finally over as the makers of Kedarnath have unveiled the film’s poster and also gave out the teaser featuring Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput. The film also marks Sara’s long-awaited debut in Bollywood and looks quite hopeful for the young actor.

Kedarnath is a love story set alongside the milieu of the ill-fated Kedarnath floods which happened in 2013. In the first poster, we see Sara Ali Khan as lively tourist Mukku en route the Kedarnath shrine in a ‘Kandi’ carried by Mansoor (Sushant Singh Rajput). The cast and crew shared the poster on social media early today.

And the very next moment teaser came out too. The one and a half minute trailer show the devastation caused in the area during the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. Sushant who plays Mansoor lives with his widowed mother and helps pilgrims make their journey to Kedarnath. Mansoor’s life changes after he meets Sara aka Mukku, who is reminding us greatly of her mother Amrita Singh.

The film narrates how a Muslim pithoo saves a Hindu tourist from the floods and how they fall for each other. The Abhishek Kapoor directorial is set on the 14 km pilgrimage starting from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath which is a 2000-year-old temple of Lord Shiva.

Produced by Abhishek Kapoor and Ronnie Screwvala, Kedarnath hits the theatres on December 7. We wish good luck the team for this huge project.
