‘There are not too many brown superheroes, so I’m really looking forward to representing the Polynesians, the natives. My family are some of the greatest watermen on Earth. I’m not, but I’m going to train with them. But it’s really an honour just being a Polynesian,’ he admitted.

Momoa married actress Lisa Bonet in 2007 after dating for almost 12 years and is not shy about expressing his love for his wife.
