The Matteo Pellicone Ranking series has commenced from 4 March, 2021 in Rome, Italy and Indian wrestlers are all set to rock the tournament.
On the opening day of the wrestling series, India has bagged two bronze medals. The Greco-Roman wrestler of the nation Neeraj went against America’s Samuel Lee Jones to grab his medal in the 63 Kg category. Meanwhile in the 130 kg category, Naveen performed his best to bring the medal for the country, clinching on to the bronze in the event.
The wrestling tournament will continue till 7 March, 2021 and other forms of wrestling events will start from today onwards.
