Mumbai, June 2026 – This Pride Month, Idoru, Bandra’s experience-first cocktail bar, brings together an evening where stories take centre stage with Pride Prose & Poetry on Friday, 12 June 2026. Through open-mic readings of poetry and prose, the gathering explores concepts like – identity, love, longing, belonging, self-discovery, and the many journeys of becoming.
At its core, Idoru is a space for community and connection. By bringing together literature, conversation, cocktails, and culture, it continues to create opportunities for people to gather, exchange perspectives, and engage with new ideas. Idoru has steadily evolved into a cultural hub where creativity and dialogue take centre stage. Events like Pride Prose & Poetry reflect this spirit, creating a room for diverse voices, shared experiences, and meaningful connections within the city’s creative community.
At its heart, Pride has always been about the freedom to tell one’s own story. Through language, memory, humour, heartbreak, desire, and joy, this event creates a space for personal narratives to be shared, heard, and celebrated. The evening will explore themes of identity, love, belonging, self-discovery, and everything in between, featuring readings by Nandini Godara, Mandovi Menon, and Srijan D, alongside an open mic open to anyone who wishes to express.
Designed as an evening of connection and celebration, the gathering invites attendees to participate as readers or listeners, who simply come together over stories and cocktails.
