Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, the Chinese Tech Giant, launched its Smart TV in the market, on Saturday. Powered by the operating system ‘Harmony’, the Honor Vision Smart TV is the first official device to run on the company’s in house operating system. Packed to the brim with the most impressive hardware and software the new TV is more like a smartphone flaunting a screen size of 55 inches with 4K HDR display.

There will be two variants of the new TV. One is the Honor Vision and the second is the Honor Vision Pro. The base model of the Honor Vision with 2GB+16GB costs around INR 38,000. The Pro version of Honor Vision comes with 2GB+32GB costing INR 48,000.

The Honor Vision series sports three-sided bezel-less full-view design with 6.9mm full metal frame and a diamond-patterned rear, supporting an intelligent breathing light and German TUV Rheinland Low Blue Eye Comfort Mode. Honghu 818 Intelligent Display Chipset, an AI Camera NPU chipset and a flagship-level Wi-Fi chipset are equipped in the new TV.

The Honor Vision series offers an extraordinary audio and video experience and includes a library of content and a range of other platforms. The Honor Vision includes an intelligent display that is equipped with the Family Note Function allowing users to transfer 600M images between their smartphone and display in just 20 seconds which is 100 times faster than transferring via Bluetooth.

The Honor Vision Pro TV offers video calling at 1080p at 30fps with the help of the popup camera, and has six far-field microphones for a seamless video calling experience. The popup camera can also be adjusted by 10 degrees downwards. The Pro variant has six 10W speakers, while the Honor Vision has four 10W speakers

The Honor Vision and Honor Vision Pro can act as Smart Home hub and use elements of Magic UI 3.0 and EMUI 10 for AI capabilities. Smart Screen devices can also show weather information, track packages, and a lot more. Additionally, the devices come with Honor Magic Link support, which allows the users to remotely control their Honor Vision via their smartphone.

Both the smart TVs from Honor are yet to hit the Indian market. The company has not revealed the details about the launch in India but is expected to enter the market by next month.
