It’s the wedding season and the Commonwealth gold medalist Babita Phogat tied the knot with her long-time beau Vivek Suhag at her home town Balali, Haryana.

Amidst all the messages of ‘Save Nature’, ‘Anti-dowry’, ‘Bringing Back Indigenous Art’, ‘No Food Waste’, wrestler Babita took a stand on women empowerment in her wedding.
In a unique way, the Phogat sister took an extra phera at her wedding to show the importance of education among girls. With ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ message, Babita won everyone’s heart.
