Dah-ling! She Is Back

Walt Disney Studios has dropped the look of Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil, on Twitter.

Emma will play the role of a rich, spoiled old lady who is hell bent on stealing Dalmatian puppies to create a new fur coat, in Disney’s live action, original, villain origin story film, ‘Cruella’.

For the movie, Stone will be seen with short permed, two-toned black and white hair, red lips and black eye makeup. But instead of the signature fur coat of the character, she’s dressed in leather jacket with puffed sleeves and trousers with a chain by her hip. Emma is holding onto three Dalmatians who are attached by leashes. Her whole look and outfit gives a punk rock feel, instead of 1920’s glamour and opulence.

In the background, her henchmen Jasper and Horace, essayed by Joel Fry and Paul Walter Hauser, along with a non-Dalmatian puppy are present.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, ‘Cruella’ is slated to release on 28 May 2021.
