As the online social life is expanding, the cases of cyberbullying and profanity over the internet have been increasing at an alarming rate, especially through social media platforms.

To combat these issues and make the platform safe, Facebook-owned Instagram is taking a step forward with a hope of making a difference.

Earlier, the photo-sharing platform had introduced the feature of notifying the people if their comment on someone else’s post appears to be offensive.

Now, Instagram has rolled out a new feature which will notify the user about the offensive caption. If a person is posting a video or picture with a caption and through AI the words are found to be profane, the social media platform will ask them to reconsider their words before sharing it.

Instagram is not only aiming to limit online bullying through this but is also trying to educate people about what to post and what not to post.

Currently, this new development has been rolled out in a few countries but within a month it will be expanded worldwide.
