Vicky Kaushal who earned fame right in his debut film turns 31 today. From Masaan to Uri: The Surgical Strike, the actor has awe-struck the viewers and the critics from his finest performances. The actor is holidaying on his birthday in New York and ahead of it, he took out time from his busy schedule to meet Rishi Kapoor who moved to New York last year for his medical treatments. Vicky also clicked a picture with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.

Vicky Kaushal has never failed to steal limelight on him. Whether by his personality or personal life or his performances in movies, he has always managed to grab the attention of the viewers. 1. Uri: The Surgical Strike

Vicky Kaushal just aced in this film and received tremendous love from his fans for his brilliant acting. Of course, there is a reason why How’s the Josh became so popular thing after this film. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film was based on the surgical strike led by the Indian Army in contradiction of the alleged activists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

2. Raazi

Though Alia did a commendable performance in the movie Vicky Kaushal also managed to be in the limelight. Vicky who played the character of Iqbal Syed was a commander in the Pakistan army. Trying to maintain a balance between his feelings for his wife (Alia Bhatt, an Indian spy) and his duties towards his nation as a soldier, he successfully touched the hearts of the audiences.

3. Masaan

Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, Vicky Kaushal who played the character of Deepak, a Dalit in the movie Masaan, impressed the audiences from his debut performance. He was also honoured with Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Dealing with the pain of his lost love and caste-related complications, Vicky Kaushal touched the emotions of the people.

4. Sanju

Though Vicky Kaushal played a supporting role in the film, he totally justified his role as a true friend as Kamlesh in Sanjay Dutt’s life. The way he supported Sanjay Dutt when the world was against him, encouraged everyone and received appreciation for his awesome performance.
